Designed with beginner adults in mind, this class meets once a week in the evening for folks who want to learn guitar casually without a huge time or financial commitment. While many schools and community centers offer guitar classes, they typically focus on classical training, which for the casual player can be a very tedious and boring experience. My course offers a more practical approach, learning chords and strumming right away as well as learning to read tablature, a form of notation that is commonly found online. Within 3 months you'll go from struggling to learn the basics to being able to play many of your favorite songs. Group classes are also great because you'll stay motivated throughout the course since there are others at the same skill level as you to play with.
